Hey guys~!!!

Alright, i know i haven't updated in a while, and i have a perfectly good explanation for that....

I........................

Ok fine i don't have a perfectly good explanation for that lol.. i've kinda been playing sooooo much pool... and piano.... and meeting ppl and going for lunch and dinner with them... and freaking ppl out (yes i'm talking to you alina) with card tricks =D

Basically.. here's my usual schedulle.. Wake up about 7 something 8, come online to chat with the peeps in malaysia cos it'll be evening over there.. go to class at 10, yes, i have class EVERYDAY.. ok.. everyWEEKday, at 10.. then during free time i'll go and play pool in the union recreation room.... then go for whatever afternoon classes i have, most of which will end by either 3 or 4, then play pool till about 5 something 6, come back to the dorm, play piano till about 7 something 8, then look through notes for classes to come =) hardworking eh?..

I just bought all my books today.. effing 500+ USD sial.. that's like.. RM1.75k.. damn.. DO U KNOW HOW MANY HOURS OF POOL I CAN PLAY WITH THAT KINDA MONEY?!?!? sigh.. nvm nvm.. put to good use.. i'll get my 4.0 rawr.. =)

Went for dinner with some MaSA members and new friends.. FYI, MaSA = Malaysian Students Association... hahaha.. i didn't think i'd use BM at all over here.. hahaha.. but well.. yeah.. so met Victor (whom, i might add, would fit PERFECTLY well in EX).. alina, saffiyah, intan.. andddddd a few others whose names elude me.. lol i'm sowie...

Oh before that, Victor and Alina didn't believe that i could play the piano.. so i showed them some of the youtube vids i posted.. and since most of you who have watched my videos know that i don't show my face in the videos, they don't believe that it is me.. SOOOO they dragged me to a GRAND.. YES... AN EFFING GRAND PIANO... in the lounge of the Illini Union (that's the main big big building here), to play.. i was like... OMGGGGG A GRAND PIANOOOOOO.... just so u know, i've never really played one before (except once in avanda's house but that was close to midnight so i couldn't play loud T_T).. so i was like.. getting an adrenaline rush just sitting there.. victor opened up the piano so that we could see the strings in it.. and told me to play the most complicated piece i know to see the hammers move... (do u even call those things hammers LOL)..

SO.. i played one of the songs from secret by Jay Chow.. the one where he played and traveled back in time LOLOL.. after i finished they were like stunned.. i duno why i like the look on their faces LOLOL... SOMEHOW it just seems normal that a big size guy like me wouldn't be delicate and sensitive enough to play the piano sob sob..

So after that we went for dinner... i've never felt so ripped off in my life... other people order pasta they get BIG serving... i order i get some MINI shit like some kids meal wtf... sigh.. stupid people... AnYhOw... after dinner, Alina didn't believe that i could do card tricks... quote her after that "IS THERE ANYTHING THAT U CAN'T DO?!?!?) lol.. after i was done with all the tricks.. she was CERTAIN that i had black magic LOLOL.. she was literally freaked out by me k... i did the trick i did to kelly(the korean one) in KLIA b4 i left... i did it to alina.. and she LITERALLY SCREAMMMMMMED... no wait... SHRIEKEDDDD, at a crossroad at the traffic lights.. and EVERYBODY within a mile radius looked at us.. she threw the bag on the floor and shrieked LOLOL....

Other than thattttt.. i've been playing pool like crazy.. been on a winning spree... hahaa... my 1st tournament is an 8 ball tournament this saturday.. wish me luck guys... =)

OH GUESS WHAT... I'M PLAYING FUTSAL LATER!!! WOOHOOO!!!! time to show keeper skillz... =D but but but... i left my awesomely smelly gloves in malaysia.. (for good reason.. i wouldn't want my WHOLE luggage to stink LOL).. so guess i'm playing without gloves later.. nvm.. still can still can.. but 2 weeks never play d.. karat T_T sob sob...

Oright.. just like the description says.. this is a church hymn, Sweet Bye and Bye, which is my parents' favourite song.. and also my grandma's funeral song.. once again, forgive the VERY OBVIOUS MISTAKES i made at 1:06 and 4:00... somebody walked in the room and distracted me lolol...

What else... hrmmm... OHHHH i didn't talk about quad day... and the clubs that i actually DID join... OKAY!!! FUUUU~~~~~

So TO SUM IT UP, just so u ppl don't die of boredom reading this... I joined the billards club(that's american for pool club).. the illini poker club.. MaSA(i explined earlier d).. erm.. that's the MAIN ones.. oh wait and a DDR club.. YES... THEY HAVE A DDR CLUB ISN'T THAT AWESOMEEEEE HAHAHAHAHAHA

Other random clubs i joined was the japanese society (No u sick minded freaks, not for the girls or the hentai =.=) it was because i saw (IN BOLD)... FREE SUSHI NIGHT.. lolol.. hey, that's life man.. sushi is like the best food in the world hahahaa.... and i also joined some asian-american something something society... i wasn't that interested at 1st.. but this girl came up to me and started explaining... talk talk talk talk talk..... then i was looking at their posters and stuff.. i saw MAHJONG NIGHT... i was INSTANTLY interested to join... HAHAHAHA... and the girl was still talking... LOL... seriously... when i was writing my name down on the paper, she was STILL talking... my mouth came out "ahh.. mm... ohhh.." but inside my head was like.....

STFU BIATCH I JUST WANT THE MAHJONG LULULULULS....

hrmmm.. that's about it i guess... OH i didn't join the soccer club... because... they said "tryouts are tmr, we're gonna run from one end of campus to the other, the 1st 30 will be in.."..

i was like... GFY... =)

I REALLY need a phone.. for convinience purposes T_T... sigh..

Okay.. i think that's about it for now... i'll update when there are more stuff to update... expect my next update to be about classes and related lifeless nonsense =D

Finally a decent day that wasn't emofying =D

Went to walmart again with my roomate and friends.. yes, the chinese speaking bunch of people.. DID i mention that they are like the EX of taiwan? like.. they have stupid nicknames for their friends, have stupid ideas to do stupid things, are DAMN DAMN DAMN lame.... and like... well.. basically.. EX larh.. lol.. put it this way, CJ joining EX is like me joining them, except the language is opposite LOL...

supposed to buy stuff for winter, but ended up just buying one sweatshirt, cos couldn't find anything LOL... came back about 5 something.. then i went to play piano again, this time, in a more open space, so i'm less emo (or more attention seeking) LOL.. met two new ppl.. Ruth and John.. =D..

Had a very long and interesting convo with Ruth, very nice and interesting person she is.. she asked what i like to do, i said i like to entertain people.. she said "well yeah i can see from the awesome piano playing, but what else you do?".. and i said.........

and that went on for about an hour, she actually screamed.. like.. as bad as Kelly.. the korean one.. ahahaha.. ok larh.. best way to make friends here, mindf*ck them with card tricks HAHAHAHA...

ahhhhh.. my evening went well, i'm happy =) tomorrow is quad day.. THAT is like ECA(extra curricular activity) day, where all the clubs will have booths and all and we're supposed to just walk around and register and blah =D let's see what i have in mind to register for....

Just when i thought i was fine.. i was so happy i found out that the place i stay has like 3 pianos, a pool table, and other cool stuff.. one of the pianos was in a basement, that is like close to sound-proof from the outside.. which would mean i could bang on it as hard as i wanted, screamed like mad in that room and nobody could hear me.. fantastic..

So i thought i'd go play the piano.. being the piano loving person that i am =).. little did i know that it would send a whole shot of emo and nostalgia right through my heart, i actually started crying halfway through playing...

i've never played piano so emotionally in my life.. i went through all the songs that i could possibly remember how to play without sheet music.. songs like marrage d'amore and souvinir d'enfant from richard clayderman... my famous self modified canon in C/D, my piano cover of linkin park's new divide... fur elise, claudine.. all with full passion.. and then, i played tong hua... felt abit emo d.. then i played peng you.. tears started flowing d..... then since i already was like that, i remembered an advice from a friend of mine, "if u wanna cry, go all out.. don't hold it back"..

Ok.. So i played my heart out, sang my heart out, and cried my heart out.. in a room in a basement where nobody can hear me.. and when i played finished.. i carried on crying, to my heart's content.. inside the room was SO silent, after i finished, it was TOTAL silence.. like COMPLETE silence.. it was eerie, but i appreciated the silence, it helps u to listen to the sound of silence.. i'm not kidding.. it was refreshing..

Then after that, i played a hymn, my dad's favourite song, Sweet Bye and Bye.. The very same song that was sung for my grandma's(dad's mom) funeral.. a random thought hit me that i'm never going to see my parents again.. I cried again, finished playing that piece, and went into prayer..

My friend was right, i did feel refreshed after the whole thing.. crying everything out DOES help u get better, ironically.. and by God's will, I will pull through this.. BUT WELL, God doesn't help ppl who don't help themselves, does He? SO I went to the dining hall and randomly made MORE new friends HAH.. =D

I met Christine earlier this afternoon, together with Mike and Jon, Madeline and Mari.. Christine is from HongKong, been here for 2 years, and speaks AWESOME english (despite being honkie XD), Mike and Jon were both from suburbs of Chicago, Madeline's from New York, Mari's from springfield..

Followed Christine to dinner, and met Kevin, Nate, Amber, Katie, and Ruth... Kevin's from Alabama, he has a freaking cool southern accent.. lol.. Nate's from some small town in Illinois, Amber and Katie are roomates, from urbana and some suburb respectively.. Ruth... ok i don't remember, i'm sorry... information overload k... T_T lol...

These people would be the 1st few people that i don't have to communicate in chinese with that i met since i got here.. =D Since i came here, met my roomate and his gang of friends, all from Taiwan, few guys and girls from few parts of China.. and err.. yeah... OH yeah, met erm... watz her name omg.. AH.. Cordelia, from Singapore =)

So refreshing to speak english at dinner today.. the past few days was chinese after chinese after chinese after chinese... gahhhh... lol.. not that i'm complaining, but i DID come to the US, not CHINA.. lol....

Well that's about the latest with me here.. i've registered for classes, classes starting next monday.. 24th.. =).. can't wait.. teehee...

Day 2 in US......

1st of all... let's start this post with something not so emo.... THEN i'll end it emo =(

ok.. for the not emo part.. OMG PORK SUBWAY ROCKS OMGOMGOMG... HAHAHAHAHAHA

omg larh malaysian subway sucks compared to this.. i'm sitting in subway now.. like.. NOW.. lol.. yes.. they have wifi.. EAT that malaysia lolol..

they have like 6 types of bread, and only one same like malaysia... others are like.. damn epic lol.. heard of monterey cheddar? it's a type of cheese apparently.. and it's a type of bread aso hahaha.. they have like.... 9-grain wheat, 9-grain honey oat, italian herbs and cheese.. blah blah omg so cool...

then u know normally in malaysia.. they ask want cheese anot.. it's like just 4 quarters of cheddar cheese rite.. here they'll ask u WHAT cheese u want.. got like monterey cheddar, natural pepper jack and natural provolone.. DON'T ask me what that is.. i aso have no idea.. lololol.. can choose cheese weihhhhh lol...

then their vege and sauses ar... walao.... heard of banana peppers? lol.. and their sauses.. here.. let me list them out... mustard, honey mustard, sweet onion, red wine vinegar, light mayonaise, chipotle southwest (no i have no damn idea what that is), ranch (don't know either), mayonaise and oil.. hahahahaha...

ok.. food is anti-emo agent.. lol..

back to more serious matters... i'm still damn homesick.. maybe cos my dorm is like as big as my toilet back home.. and like.. my bed is like... a mattress.. period. which reminds me.. i need to go buy a few pillows and a blanket.. and bedsheets... and blah..

A New Beginning

Here I am,

sitting in this seat;

After all.. since Sean was in London, Ryan in Vietnam, Sam and Tw having gf duties.. it left cal, winkeat, yihu and forgot who else going to hartamas to shisha.. and SINCE i made quitting shisha one of my new year resolutions, i decided to go church =)

BTW.. It was Letitia who suggested me following her to church for new year.. so once again THANK YOU.. =) it was truly something new to experience.. away from all the havoc that came out in the newspapers the next day.. hahaha

It started out as a typical fellowship lo.. sing songs.. sing sing sing.. den listen to some testimonials of ppl.. den listen to pastor preaching.. check out the awesome cool pastor...

This is WRONG in so many degrees.....

hahaha well.. that's just about how i spend my new year larh =) it was a change no doubt.. new experience, but good experience nontheless.. =D

I sincerely pray that God will help me throughout 2009 and make my resolutions come true =) Amen.

Speaking of resolutions.. here are my top 8 resolutions (can be updated eventually) for 2009..

1)Settle down in a church after church hopping for God knows how long...

2)Keep a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in my AUP course...

3)Completely stop smoking/shisha (although i only smoked like 3-4 sticks last whole year)

4)Completely stop what-guys-do-when-they're-alone-stuff.. (yes i know this is nearly impossible but no harm trying.. there's a will there's a way, i can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me =D (SAW the bible skillz tat killz LOL))

5)NOT break any bones in my body (given the fact that i've broken at least one bone per year EVERY year since 2002, this would be a great acheivement lol)

6)Finish a pool game with ONE turn, or "sao kiu" as ppl might call it.. (pocketing the 9-ball when there still are other balls on the table in a 9-ball game doesn't count)

7)Completely cut rice from my diet (i'm fat T_T)

luls well.. i guess that's about it for my resolutions.. i'd say the only ones i might have problems with is number 4, 5, and 8.. others shouldn't be much of a problem.. i hope.. xD
