Fine Dining..

Damn.. seriously.. EX should NEVER.. EVER... FOREVER... AND EVEEERRRRRR... go fine dining in a big group.. or actually we should.. and possibly get kicked out of the restaurant XD

Here's what happened.. alyssa (my neighbour) was invited over to her friend Tania's hotel management serving practice thingi today.. Basically it's just lunch.. and Tania would be the server.. supposed to be 15 bucks.. but tania used 3 of her tickets to invite alyssa and two other friends...

HOWEVER.. alyssa FORGOT.. well.. i duno forgot or conviniently forgot that she was supposed to go genting.. (dunno for wat nuts lah).. so she asked the most lifeless dude on earth to fill in for her.. which i did.. as for the other two friends.. i dragged calvyn and sean.. so fine dining here we come.. XD

Tania was so worried that we'd ffk (like alyssa did) so she smsed alyssa to remind us.. COME ON la... since when does EX ffk ppl other than ourselves? XDXD.. we reached there on time kay... say 12 we reached at 12.. =D this called PUNCTUAL... met up with tania (our 1st time meeting) and she brought us to our table to sit.. so ok la.. put the napkin on lap all.. normal restaurant aso got la.. not that bad.. and... OH YEAH!! damnn... too bad i don't have a cam.. u ppl have GOT to see me, sean and cal in formal.. KILLER man... XD girls look aso faint.. too hot to handle =)

THEN the fun started.. tania explained the menu to us.. we stoned at it.. LOL.. why? cos it was in french.. we TRIED to figure out what it was.. but to no avail.. come on.. the main course was like something something jus gaster something something.. we were like.. WHAT?!? GASTERIC JUICE?!? isn't that like the stuff from ur stomach... =.=.. We were then told by tania that the starter was some egg pie thingi with spinach, main course was some duck.. and dessert was some vanilla something that i didn't really catch.. LOL... now.. we get down to details.......

APPITIZER!!!.. egg tart... *mmm notbad*... with spinach.. *WTF?!?!?* no seriously.. to be honest it clashes with the egg taste... well i don't know.. it's GOURMET food after all... cheapskate ppl like us wouldn't appreciate it probably.. sean said it was something diff.. cal had no comments.. oh SPEAKING OF WHICH.......

b4 the appitizer tania served us some bread thingi.. no actually.. it WAS bread LOL.. and supposed to spread the butter on ourselves.. so ok la.. we being COMPLETELY clueless on the MANY MANY rules of fine dining.. brought the bread plate to the center.. smothered butter ALLLLLL over the bread.. and bite off the whole piece slowly till it's gone.. sounds normal right?

WRONG!! apprently.. the bread plate can't be brought to the middle, bread is supposed to be torn into small peices, butter put on the small piece and eaten.. but how were we supposed to know that.. well not that bad.. CALVYN.. on the other hand.. completely used the wrong knife to spread the butter.. he didn't even notice the butter knife on the small plate on his left, he used the HUGE ASS knife used for the main course to put butter on the bread.. me and sean didn't know where to hide our face... LOLOLOLOL...

after that was main course.. all 3 of us agreed.. we have NEVER.. EVER.. ate a full quarter chicken (or duck in this case) withOUT our hands.. lol DAMN BIG DEAL OKAYYY!!!... so yeah.. it was a quarter duck with gasteric sauce apprently.. lol.. with some chips and oranges.. yeah.. mandarin oranges.. like 3 small pieces of it.. the duck was good.. SO good that we got SOOOOO damn pissed with the fork and knife.. we just used the fork and knife to carry the duck to our mouth and bite the meat off.. JUST LIKE NORMAL XDXD.. (i swear i could feel ppl staring at us LOL) but seriously.. dah la meat so hard.. HOW to cut clean laaaa T_T after the whole ordeal.. cal was SO glad it's over he put the fork and knife down on the plate haphazardly, and wanted to put his hands on the table, but ter-hit the fork and knife and it went flying.. again.. me and sean LAGI dunno where to hide our face... LOLOLOLOLOL...

Then.. dessert.. i thought was gonna be some fancy thingi.. end up was sponge cake with vanilla cream.. LOL.. at home aso i got laaaaaa... lol but nvm.. it was the atmosphere that counts.. nothing much to talk about the cake.. after that was a choice of coffee or tea.. this happened.....

d:*pourpourpourpourpo....* urh.. i dunno when to stop le.. i won't be drinking aso......

like wth rite.. LOL.. seriously.. i don't drink coffee OR tea.. so when she asked coffee or tea.. i just listened to wat sean said LOL.. she actually asked after that why i ordered if i don't drink.. i replied saying she said it was compulsory.. =.=.. i know i rock.. best part was halfway through drinking...

seriously.. i laughed like dunno how long after that.. HOW THE HELL can brown sugar look like smashed peanuts.. cal i respect u... ahaha..

Well overall it was an eye opening event la.. and the food wasn't THAT bad.. prepared by students.. expected alot worse LOL.. i seriously wanna see the whole of EX in a fine dining place one day.. havoc will break loose XD

Lifeless.. is back in business.. =)
